Lionel Messi is set to make his Paris Saint-Germain debut in the Ligue 1 encounter away at Reims on August 29, according to a report.
The six-time Ballon d'Or winner signed a two-year deal with the Parisian club last week and has since taken part in three training sessions with his new teammates.
Messi has not had a full pre-season and head coach Mauricio Pochettino does not want to rush the 34-year-old into action, but according to Sky Sports News, the forward will be in contention to feature at the end of this month.
Messi's last competitive appearance was with Argentina in the Copa America final, which they won 1-0 against South American rivals Brazil on July 10.
The former Barcelona man, who has been given time to settle in the French capital, was in the stands for PSG's 4-2 win over Strasbourg last weekend.
Messi made 778 appearances across an iconic 21-year period with the Catalan club, scoring an incredible 672 goals and providing 305 assists.
