Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly targeted Zinedine Zidane to take over from manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Following Les Parisiens' exit from the Champions League at the round-of-16 stage this season, the Argentinian's position has come under question, with the PSG hierarchy said to be considering their options for the future.
According to Le Parisien, the board have decided they do not want to continue with Pochettino after this season, instead placing their focus on former Real Madrid boss Zidane.
The Paris outfit currently lead Ligue 1 by 12 points but failed to secure the league title under the Argentinian last year, only collecting the Coupe de France trophy, while their Champions League ambitions were again dashed this term, with Zidane's former club Real Madrid dumping them out.
The French boss has taken charge of Los Blancos in two different spells, initially leading between 2016 and 2018 before returning in 2019 and managing until a second exit in 2021.
Across his two stints, the 49-year-old secured two La Liga titles and oversaw three consecutive Champions League triumphs between 2016 and 2018. body check tags ::
