A report has claimed that David Beckham will be handed the captaincy for Paris Saint-Germain in the final home match of his career.
The Ligue 1 champions will host Brest at the Parc des Princes in their penultimate game of the season tonight, with coach Carlo Ancelotti previously stating that the former England skipper would play some part in the match.
However, the 38-year-old will be handed the armband for the match, according to Sky Sports News.
Beckham, who will be making his 14th appearance for the Parisians, announced on Thursday that he will retire from the sport at the end of the campaign.
Beckham has previously played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Los Angeles Galaxy and AC Milan and has earned over 100 caps for England.
