The agent of Paris-Saint Germain midfielder Marco Verratti believes that his client has done enough in his first season to warrant a pay rise from the French champions.
The 20-year-old has impressed since his £10m arrival from Pescara last summer, leading to links with the clubs such as Real Madrid.
His representative Donato Di Campli admitted that the Italian international is flattered by interest from the Bernabeu, but said that he will sit down to discuss a new deal with Les Parisiens.
"I'll talk to the directors in Paris next week to discuss his future," Di Campli told Sport Mediaset. "We'll also discuss a pay rise.
"Verratti is tied to the outfit for another four seasons, but he is no longer the player who arrived from Pescara. His value is now different and we'll also evaluate these aspects.
"Real Madrid? I read a lot of stories in the newspapers and it is pleasing to know that Marco is being followed by great clubs such as Real."
Verratti started in 24 of his 27 appearances in Ligue 1 this season.
