Paris Saint-Germain have survived a scare at Nantes tonight to earn their first Ligue 1 win of the campaign, thanks to a late winner from Ezequiel Lavezzi.
The visitors made a fine start to take the lead after 23 minutes, with Edinson Cavani combining with Zlatan Ibrahimovic to coolly slot home from close range.
Nantes responded brightly and worked hard to press the defending champions, with Alejandro Bedoya pulling the strings on his home debut in midfield.
Early in the second half Nantes got an equaliser that their positive play probably merited, as PSG defender Alex got the final touch on Papy Djilobodji's header at the far post.
That setback prompted Blanc to send on Lucas Moura, attempting to stretch the game with the Brazilian and Lavezzi down both flanks.
17 minutes from time his change paid dividends as PSG went back ahead, with Lavezzi smashing into the roof of the net after Gabriel Cichero had initially scrambled Moura's drilled effort off the line.
Nantes pressed forward in the closing stages, but a spirited late onslaught was held off by the visitors as Blanc got his first league win in charge of the Parisians.
