Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino is "100%" sure he will be staying on at the Ligue 1 champions for the 2022-23 season.
The former Tottenham Hotspur boss claimed his first league title in Ligue 1 last weekend but disappointed with a last-16 collapse in the Champions League to Real Madrid.
Pochettino was at one point considered the favourite for the Manchester United job before the Red Devils swooped for Erik ten Hag, and the Argentine's future has since been shrouded in uncertainty.
However, when asked by reporters what the chances of him and Kylian Mbappe staying at PSG were, Pochettino responded: "100% in both cases.
"That is how I feel today. That is what I can say to you today. I can't say anything else. That is how I feel right now. This is football and we never know what might happen. But I have to answer the question based on how I feel today. And that is what I have done."
"There haven't been any concrete talks, beyond what is normal in terms of our plans and what we have been doing so far. We have a natural relationship. We communicate depending on the circumstances at the time, but the relationship and communication are good.
"We keep working hard, not just bearing in mind the present, but also with the responsibility in this job which is to think about the future. So that is what we are doing."
Pochettino's existing contract at PSG will expire at the end of next season, and the French champions are thought to be optimistic about their chances of agreeing a new deal with Mbappe. body check tags ::
