Paris Saint-Germain manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Ajax right-back Gregory van der Wiel is likely to sign for the club.
The Dutch international is expected to sign a four-year deal on Tuesday and Ancelotti has said that Van Der Wiel will provide competition for Christophe Jallet.
Ancelotti said: "I think he'll sign very soon. He will start training with us next week.
"Christophe was the only player at this position. There will be competition but it won't be a problem for Christophe."
Paris Saint-Germain secured their first win of the season on Sunday when they beat Lille 2-1.
