Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has confirmed that the club has held talks with David Beckham over a potential move.
The Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder, whose deal runs out in December, has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe.
However, Leonardo believes that the time he spent coaching Beckham at AC Milan during a loan spell could help push a move through.
"Yes, we've spoken," he said. "These situations take time. We'll see if something suits him and suits us.
"I know his history and he doesn't need to tell me his past. He went to Milan and it was the same thing. There is a rapport with him."
Beckham recently won the MLS title after five seasons with the club.
