Paris Saint-Germain have officially announced that David Beckham has put pen to paper on a five-month contract at the Ligue 1 outfit.
The 37-year-old was unveiled at a press conference this afternoon after passing a medical in the French capital.
"I'm excited, it's something that we've been talking about for quite a while and now it's finally happened," Beckham told reporters. "I'm very lucky. I'm 37 years old and I got offered a lot of offers, more offers now than I've probably had in my career. I'm very honoured by that.
"I chose Paris because I can see what the club are trying to do, I can see the players that they're bringing in. To be part of something that is growing is important to me. I'm very excited and honoured with that."
Beckham also confirmed that he would have only joined a Premier League outfit if his former club Manchester United had come calling.
