Laurent Blanc believes that Edinson Cavani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be able to play together.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has revealed that he would be delighted to add Edinson Cavani to his strike force for next season.

The Frenchman was also quick to state his belief that the Uruguayan and current PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic could work together in the same team.

"If he was to join PSG, I would be happy," Blanc told L'Equipe. "I believe Cavani and Ibrahimovic are complementary.

"It would be a big sporting shot and a signal to potential opponents of PSG in France and Europe."

Blanc took over this summer from Carlo Ancelotti, who joined Real Madrid as their coach.
