Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani has declared that he intends to stay at the French club for the foreseeable future.
The Uruguay hitman, who has been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United, admitted that unexpected transfers can occur during pre-season, but insisted that he has no plans to leave the Ligue 1 outfit.
"I feel good at Paris and I count on staying, but considering how this window has gone so far, nobody really knows," he told Ovacion.
"The idea was for me to stay in Paris and the owner of the club thinks the same."
Cavani, who joined PSG from Napoli last year in a deal worth around £55m, netted 25 goals in all competitions last season.
