Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has affirmed that he does not know whether an agreement with Everton over a permanent deal for Moise Kean can be reached.
The former Juventus protege struggled to make an impact at Goodison Park, but he has played a starring role for the French champions during his loan spell this season.
Kean has amassed 14 goals across all competitions for PSG this term - including 10 in Ligue 1 - although Leonardo is still unsure if the 20-year-old will remain at the Parc des Princes.
Speaking to Le 10 Sport, the PSG chief said: "Today, knowing a value is difficult. The choice was obvious. We made the choice to take a young player. We took it for one year, then we'll see.
"Everton didn't want to lose him. He plays very well, he scores. He has an important future, but there, we cannot know. We could not do otherwise than the loan and I think that today having it available for a year was already very positive.
"If we can see the future under certain conditions, we will try to see how it goes, but today, it's very complicated to know."
Leonardo has also hinted that the futures of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar will be resolved in the not-so-distant future.
