Paris Saint-Germain have made a £6m bid for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Benjamin Stambouli, according to a report.
Newly-promoted Premier League outfit Watford have supposedly been in the running to sign the 24-year-old.
However, the deal is said to have stalled, with the player allegedly refusing to put pen to paper on a Hornets contract.
According to the Daily Mail, the Ligue 1 champions have now stepped in to try to sign the former France Under-21 international.
Stambouli joined Spurs from Montpellier for £4m last summer.
