Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Thiago Silva has agreed terms on a one-year extension, which will see him remain in the French capital until the summer of 2018.
Silva's future has been the subject of much speculation this summer, and the new deal is a sign that the player and the club are happy for the Brazilian to stay long-term.
"We are very proud to have extended with Thiago, an exemplary player both on and off the pitch," president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said in a club statement.
"He symbolises PSG's wish to build one of the most successful teams in Europe in the mean time."
Silva joined PSG last summer from Italian side AC Milan.
