Paris Saint-Germain starlet Xavi Simons is "seriously" considering an exit from the club, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The former Barcelona prospect has been restricted to appearances for Les Parisiens' Under-19s this term but has made quite the name for himself in the UEFA Youth League.
Simons has scored two goals and set up four more in four continental appearances against Club Brugge, Manchester City and RB Leipzig, including a hat-trick of assists against the latter in a 4-1 win earlier this month.
The 18-year-old's deal at the Parc des Princes is due to expire next summer, and PSG are believed to be working on an extension, but their efforts could supposedly prove futile.
According to Romano, Simons will "seriously consider" an exit as a free agent at the end of the current season, with clubs in Spain and Germany closely monitoring developments.
Simons is represented by Mino Raiola, who reportedly wants the teenager to be assured of first-team opportunities before he commits his future to Mauricio Pochettino's side.
The Netherlands Under-19 international has played two games for the PSG first team so far, coming off the bench against Strasbourg in Ligue 1 and Caen in the Coupe de France last season. body check tags ::
