PSV Eindhoven captain Georgino Wijnaldum has confirmed that he will one day leave the club and move to one of the top five European leagues.
The attacking midfielder has been linked with a move to Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle United in recent months, and admitted that being captain at PSV won't stop him heading elsewhere.
He told reporters: "It depends on how I feel. When I feel I want to go, I will do it. It is difficult to say when I want to go, if a great club come in for me then I will think about it. Being the captain does not affect my decision. I have learnt from it, but there is no guarantee that I will stay because I am captain.
"I am happy at PSV but I am a player with a lot of ambition. I want to play in a stronger league than the Eredivisie. With my quality I feel I can bring a lot to a team that I will join. I want to show it in the big leagues; England, Italy, Spain, Germany and France."
Wijnaldum has scored 16 goals so far this season.
