Jose Daniel Carreno has been named as the new manager of the Qatar national side.
The Uruguayan has taken over from Djamel Belmadi, who was sacked last week after just 13 months in charge.
Carreno's first task as manager will be to help Qatar reach the next World Cup in Russia, with their qualifying campaign set to begin on June 11.
Qatar are due to host the 2022 World Cup.
