Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Carroll has reportedly opted to join Queens Park Rangers on a loan deal.
The 21-year-old is highly rated by Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas, who is keen for the midfielder to seal a temporary move away from White Hart Lane to enhance his experience of first-team football.
That is thought to have captured the attention of QPR boss Harry Redknapp, who managed Carroll during his time in charge of the North Londoners.
The likes of Watford, Crystal Palace and Dutch side Ajax were all believed to be eager to sign the England youth international for the remainder of the campaign, but Redknapp's connection with the player has proved too strong, according to Sky Sports News.
It is believed that he will undergo a medical with the R's medical later today.
