The administrators currently in charge of Scottish Premier League team Rangers are reportedly expecting to receive four or five bids for the club by tomorrow.
Duff & Phelps had set potential owners a deadline of 5pm on Wednesday evening to submit their applications to take over the running of Rangers.
Brian Kennedy, who pulled out of the running last month, is believed to have renewed his interest in the Gers and is expected to submit a bid.
Unnamed companies in the United States of America and the Far East are also said to be monitoring the situation closely.
