Rangers midfielder Fraser Aird has expressed his delight at having helped his side reach the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup this evening.
Aird scored the opening goal in Rangers' eventual 2-0 win over their League Two opponents in tonight's quarter-final replay, a goal that he believes took the pressure off his side.
Rangers will face now Dundee United in the last four next month, with a place in the final against either St Johnstone or Aberdeen up for grabs.
"[The goal] took a massive weight off us. The boys knew they would sit in, so to get the first goal for us... We went out and got it and then it opened up for us and we finished the game. We're delighted to be in the semi-final," Aird told Sky Sports News.
Rangers are eyeing a league and cup double having already secured the Scottish League One title.
