Rangers boss Ally McCoist is demanding an apology from the BBC after being left ‘appalled’ by alleged editing of his media conference on Friday.
The BBC have been denied access to McCoist and Rangers as the Gers manager believes that footage of him smirking was inserted over audio concerning Old Firm violence.
"I won't speak to anyone from the BBC until I get an apology for their broadcast last Friday night which, in my opinion, was appalling," McCoist told reporters.
“The whole thing was put together to show I had a flippant attitude towards either religious bigotry or trouble between Old Firm fans.”
A spokesman from the BBC said: “We have received a complaint from Rangers which we are looking into."
