Rangers manager Ally McCoist will reportedly meet with the club's directors on Wednesday as both parties search for a solution to the current managerial situation at Ibrox.
Last week, it was revealed that McCoist had tendered his resignation from his role at the Glasgow giants but it wasn't until Monday that it was formally accepted by the club.
It was also made public that McCoist would earn a pay rise during a 12-month notice period, but according to Sky Sports News, the club's directors will hold discussions with McCoist in an attempt to find an amicable solution.
Billy Davies, Gennaro Gattuso and Terry Butcher have been suggested as potential successors for McCoist.
