Rangers manager Ally McCoist has revealed that he will have to wait to discover if any players will be axed from the SPL champions.
The Scottish outfit's administrators have indicated that a number of the playing squad could be cut from the club as they continue to solve the Gers' financial woes.
"Effectively, it's the administrator who is telling me what's happening," said McCoist. "It's important to point that out.
"There have been job losses already, let's not forget that. But I hadn't seen the quote from Paul Clark. He certainly hasn't told me that people will be going, but I'm not daft. I know there might have to be cuts. He will tell me that when it happens.
"I haven't spoken to the players about it because I don't know what is happening. I've told them I'll be completely honest and 100-per-cent transparent with everything I know."
The administrators from London firm Duff and Phelps are expected to make cuts this week.
