Rangers manager Ally McCoist has reportedly decided against leaving the Scottish club, despite reports of an impending exit.
It emerged this morning that the 49-year-old was considering a departure from the troubled club due to the break down in communications with Charles Green, who is due to take over the club with his consortium as a newco for £5.5m.
It is understood that McCoist will not resign from his position at Ibrox but it is unclear whether he will carry on as manager, with Green believed to be prepared to sack the Scotsman, according to Sky Sports News.
The Gers are one step closer to liquidation after HM Revenue and Customs rejected Green's company voluntary arrangement.
