Rangers caretaker boss Kenny McDowall has admitted that his side's 1-1 draw with Queen of the South in the Scottish Championship was two points dropped.
A late goal from Aidan Smith condemned the Gers to their third successive draw, and their interim manager put the result down to sloppy defending.
"It was a very frustrating night, especially when you get the lead in a difficult match and then to concede a late goal - I am very disappointed with that," McDowall told the club's website.
"With four minutes to go you are expecting to see the game out and it was the level of defending that disappointed me most - it was poor to concede that goal."
He added: "It was a tough match and a hard fought match, we had to work hard to get ourselves in front then to let one in so late on just throws it all away. It feels like a defeat and we've given away two points tonight."
The result leaves Rangers in third place in the league table, two points behind Hibernian and 22 points behind leaders Hearts.
