Queens Park Rangers are believed to have tabled a £7m bid for Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic.
The West London side are thought to be among a number of Premier League sides vying for the 26-year-old's signature.
Rangers boss Ally McCoist claimed that an offer had been made for the Croatian just before the Old Firm battle on Wednesday.
"Somebody at the club had mentioned it to me before kick-off, which was all I needed, to be frank," the Daily Mail quotes McCoist as saying.
West Bromwich Albion are believed to be in the running to sign the striker, while Liverpool were also recently linked with Jelavic.
