Rangers reportedly have no plans to accept Ally McCoist's letter of resignation.
The 52-year-old is believed to have tendered his resignation today following a number of inconsistent results for the Scottish Championship outfit.
According to BBC Scotland, the club's board members have no intention of discussing McCoist's resignation and the Scotsman is expected to be in the away dugout for tonight's match against Queen of the South.
Reports have claimed that the club will need to either pay up £400,000 of McCoist's 12-month rolling contract, come to a settlement or keep the coach in charge for the year.
