Daniel Cousin has agreed terms on a second spell with Scottish Premier League side Glasgow Rangers.
However, the move is subject to the Gabon striker receiving international clearance from FIFA.
Should the switch be approved, Cousin is expected to be named in Ally McCoist's squad for Saturday's home fixture against Kilmarnock.
Cousin spent the 2007-08 season with the Gers, before moving on to the Premier League with Hull City.
The 35-year-old, who trained with the Rangers squad this morning, has signed a deal until the end of the season.
