Kirk Broadfoot has officially left Rangers after a five-year spell with the club.
The 28-year-old had agreed to stay at Ibrox when they were recently demoted to the Scottish Third Division, but has now chosen to leave the former Scottish Premier League champions.
"Kirk was glad to assist Rangers by taking a 75% wage reduction which ensured the club's survival to the end of last season," read a statement released through Bridge Litigation UK Solicitors.
"Kirk wishes to sincerely thank Ally McCoist for his support throughout a difficult period and the Rangers fans for the great memories."
Broadfoot won three SPL titles and the Scottish League Cup during his time with the Gers.
