Rangers have completed the signing of Matt Gilks following the goalkeeper's release from Premier League side Burnley earlier this summer.
The three-time capped Scotland international failed to make a single league appearance for the Clarets during his two years at the club, instead being restricted to cup outings.
Gilks departed Turf Moor at the end of last season, and has now been snapped up by newly-promoted Rangers on a two-year deal as they continue to add players to their squad ahead of a likely charge for the Scottish Premiership title next term.
Wes Foderingham is the Gers' current number one stopper, having played a key part in the Ibrox club's promotion from the second tier last time out upon joining from Swindon Town.
Rangers also wrapped up a deal for Niko Kranjcar earlier this week, following the arrivals of Joey Barton and Clint Hill among others.
