Angers midfielder Lassana Coulibaly has signed for Rangers on a season-long loan deal, subject to international clearance.
New boss Steven Gerrard has been proactive in the transfer market since his arrival at Ibrox, and that has continued with the addition of Coulibaly.
The 22-year-old linked up with Angers last summer, and eight starts and 12 substitute outings were made in Ligue 1 during the most recent campaign.
Before that, Coulibaly had spent two years at Bastia and he has made a total of 65 appearance in France's top flight in his career.
The player is unlikely to be available for Rangers' Europa League fixture with Shkupi on Thursday evening.
