Rangers have completed the season-long loan signing of Cardiff City defender Declan John, subject to international clearance.
Manager Pedro Caixinha has spent the summer trying to transform the first-team squad at Ibrox as he looks to mount a challenge to Scottish Premiership champions Celtic.
The Glasgow giants currently sit three points adrift of their fierce rivals in the table, but Caixinha has strengthened his options with the addition of full-back John.
The 22-year-old made a total of 16 appearances in all competitions during the last campaign, but the Welshman has not been used by boss Neil Warnock during the current term.
John could feature in the squad when Rangers host Dundee on September 9.
