Scottish champions Rangers have reportedly targeted Sheffield United striker Oli McBurnie, who is valued by his club at £15m.
The 24-year-old struggled to find the back of the net for the Blades this season, only managing one goal in 23 league appearances, and did not feature for the side during the last month of the season due to a foot injury.
That injury will see the Scotland international miss the European Championships this summer, but a move up North to his homeland would see the Rangers supporter join his beloved club.
According to the Daily Mail, many players are set to depart Bramall Lane this summer following the side's relegation from the Premier League, and the Yorkshire club would be asking for a figure in the region of £15m for the striker.
Should a buying club offer that sum to Sheffield United, the club would be taking a £5m loss on McBurnie after purchasing him from Swansea City two years ago for £20m.
McBurnie enjoyed a more successful campaign in his debut season with the Blades, scoring six goals in the 2019-20 Premier League season. body check tags ::
