Reading boss Nigel Adkins has confirmed that winger Garath McCleary is back to full fitness after a lengthy spell out through injury.
The 27-year-old has been on the sidelines for the first three months of the season after undergoing back surgery in the summer.
However, Adkins is now ready to consider McCleary for first-team selection as Reading bid to climb up the Championship table.
"Garath's got the all-clear and it's great news," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "All being well, he should be able to get himself involved from here on in. He needs more game time but we can start to consider him."
Reading are next in action on Saturday when they host Charlton Athletic in the league.
