Reading manager Nigel Adkins has praised his side's performance after they beat Birmingham City 2-0 at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday.
Two Danny Guthrie goals either side of half time sealed victory for the Royals to move them up to sixth place off the back of a five-game unbeaten run in the Championship.
Adkins believes that his side could have killed the game off earlier but was pleased with the performance and a clean sheet.
"We could and should have had the game out of sight earlier, but it's a good team performance," Reading's official Twitter account quotes Adkins as saying.
"It's a good victory, the spirit is high and the momentum is good.
"Another clean sheet is pleasing, they put big Zigic up there late on and we saw it out."
The Reading manager also singled out striker Pavel Pogrebnyak for praise.
"Pog was top-drawer today and long may that continue," he added.
After a difficult start to the season Reading have now taken 13 points from a possible 15.
