Reading have succeeded in their appeal against the red card shown to defender Kaspars Gorkss on Sunday.
The Latvian defender was shown a straight red card against Queens Park Rangers for lunging in on Junior Hoilett.
He would have had to serve a four-game ban if Reading's appeal had been unsuccessful as it was the second time that he had been dismissed this season.
However, the Football Association upheld Reading's appeal. The governing body said in a statement: "Following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing today, Reading's claim of wrongful dismissal regarding Kaspars Gorkss was upheld.
"Gorkss was dismissed for serious foul play during the game against Queens Park Rangers on February 16, 2014. His standard suspension has, therefore, been withdrawn with immediate effect."
The 32-year-old will now be available for this weekend's home match against Blackburn Rovers.
