Michael Laudrup's Swansea City recorded a 3-0 victory from their pre-season friendly away at Championship side Reading.
The visiting Swans started brightly and went on to break the deadlock with 11 minutes on the clock. Michu was the scorer, watching his shot nestle in the net via a deflection off Reading defender Alex Pearce.
New signing Wilfried Bony then had a chance to score his first goal for the Premier League side shortly before the break, but his effort from close range was tipped over the crossbar by Alex McCarthy.
However, the Ivory Coast international played a key role in his new team's two goals shortly after the restart.
Firstly he exchanged passes with Jonjo Shelvey for the former Liverpool midfielder to score courtesy of the post, and then Pablo Hernandez raced onto the striker's pass to add a third in the 59th minute.
Swansea continued to dominate proceedings, but they were unable to add to their tally.
