Reading goalkeeper Adam Federici will reportedly soon be offered a new contract by the Royals.
The Australian, who is out of contract this summer, spent most of last season on the bench behind Alex McCarthy, but has since become Reading's number one after the latter's sale to Queens Park Rangers.
According to The Sun, Reading are ready to offer the 30-year-old a new deal, despite his blunder in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday which gifted Arsenal their winner in extra time at Wembley.
Federici, who first joined Reading 10 years ago, has made 46 appearances in all competitions for the Berkshire club this season.
He will reportedly make up for missing out on the FA Cup final by having his wedding on the same day, May 30.
