Hal Robson-Kanu has revealed that he is yet to be offered a new contract by Reading.
The Wales international's current deal is due to expire at the end of the season, when he would become a free agent.
However, despite the situation, the Royals have so far opted against starting negotiations over fresh terms.
"I've not been offered a contract by the club," GetReading quotes the 26-year-old as saying.
"In this day and age it's part and parcel of football. It comes with the job. So my full focus is just on playing games, working hard and hopefully helping us get results."
Robson-Kanu has made 25 appearances for club and country this season, from which he has scored one goal.
