Reading striker Pavel Pogrebnyak has expressed his commitment to the Championship side.
The 29-year-old made it known during the summer that he was keen to depart the Madejski Stadium following the club's relegation to the second tier of English football.
However, a move failed to materialise and the Russian frontman now insists that he is now "fully devoted" to Reading's cause.
"I don't make a secret of it that I was waiting for a change to come," he told Sovsport.ru. "I couldn't accept that I would play in a lower division.
"It had an effect on my mood, but now I'm fully devoted to Reading. I do want to believe that we can go back to the Premier League after this season."
Pogrebnyak joined the Royals in 2012 from London outfit Fulham.
