Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has revealed that the relationship between players in El Clasico is much better than it once was.
Barca and Real Madrid players were seen exchanging hugs and handshakes in the tunnel before Sunday's clash at the Camp Nou and Iniesta has claimed that previous tension "wasn't normal".
"What wasn't normal is what we were going through in the past, the great thing about football is leaving everything on the pitch and let friendliness reign, we have the same jobs with different objectives, but we're all footballers. What wasn't normal was what was going on before," Inside Spanish Football has quoted Iniesta as saying.
Goals from Jeremy Mathieu and Luis Suarez saw Barcelona record a 2-1 win at the Camp Nou.
