Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has revealed that he is "ready" to face Atletico Madrid in La Liga this weekend.
The 31-year-old has missed a lot of football in recent weeks after picking up a knee problem, but the midfielder played 45 minutes of Croatia's 2-0 win over Iceland in a 2018 World Cup qualifier on Saturday.
Modric has now been released from the Croatia camp and after returning to the Spanish capital, he has insisted that he will be fully fit to take part in the Madrid derby at the Vicente Calderon on Saturday night.
"I'm fine, I'm ready for the derby," Modric told reporters.
Club captain Sergio Ramos is also expected to return for Real Madrid as Zinedine Zidane's side look to extend their lead at the top of La Liga.
