Cristiano Ronaldo has moved to play down suggestions that he is being hampered by a knee complaint.
The Real Madrid talisman was substituted in the 76th minute of Portugal's 2-1 loss to France last night and immediately applied an ice pack to his left knee, which has caused him problems in recent months.
However, the 29-year-old has insisted that the use of ice was "just a precaution".
"It's a completely normal situation, it was just a precaution. After the match it was better to put ice on it," he is quoted as saying by AS.
Ronaldo is still expected to feature for Portugal in their Euro 2016 qualifier against Denmark on Tuesday.
