Lyon winger Memphis Depay has pledged to play for Real Madrid one day.
The 23-year-old joined Manchester United from PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2015 but failed to live up to expectations at Old Trafford.
In January 2017, Depay opted to depart the Premier League for Ligue 1 side Lyon and has since rediscovered his form, scoring eight goals in 27 games.
Despite having a £35m buy-back fee written into his contract, the Netherlands international is eager to link up with the Spanish giants in future.
"I think I'm going to Real Madrid. Yes, that's a serious goal," he told Dutch magazine The PSV Supporter.
"What's happened so far, that's God, He helps me and brings me here.
"I had very nice times at PSV, but I wanted to reach higher goals in my career. At Lyon I'm very happy. The club is in a way comparable to PSV."
Depay has two goals and three assists in seven league games so far this season and was also on target for Holland against Belarus.
