Bournemouth defender Tommy Elphick believes that he and his teammates can take plenty of "positives" from their defeat to Real Madrid.
The newly-promoted Championship side were beaten 6-0 by the Spanish giants at the Goldsands Stadium in a one-off exhibition match yesterday.
"It was fantastic," Elphick said during a post-match press conference. "We're disappointed to lose by so many, but there's a lot of positives to come out of it.
"I think on the whole we can learn a lot from this match, especially the attitude of them.
"They've come to a place that they don't know very well and they've shown what they're about. I think we competed well up until the first goal, so there's a lot of positives."
Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice during the sold-out fixture.
