Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has insisted that there is no rift with goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

There have been reports that Perez is unhappy with the goalkeeper's advisors during his recent spell on the sidelines.

"It is not true that I am annoyed with Casillas," Perez told Jugones. "He has my gratitude and affection.

"He is the best goalkeeper in the history of Real Madrid and Spain. We all have people around us that can sometimes not be beneficial, not just him."

Madrid's next game is against Getafe in La Liga tomorrow evening.
