Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has admitted that he is pleased to have Cristiano Ronaldo back in the fold for tomorrow night's encounter with Real Betis.
The 32-year-old has yet to feature for Los Blancos in La Liga this term, having been issued with a five-game domestic ban for pushing a referee during the first leg of the Supercopa de Espana last month.
Zidane's side have dropped four points in their two home games during that time - drawing with Levante and Valencia - but the Frenchman believes that their luck at the Bernabeu will change now that the Portuguese striker is back in contention.
"We will not discuss the suspension, we are glad that he is back and I hope that to be the last time we had to do without him," Zidane told reporters.
"I see that Cristiano is happy, because what he likes is to play and to be with his teammates. He's coming back for a league game at home and we know everyone likes to play in this stadium."
Betis have had a mixed start to the new La Liga season, winning their two home games and losing their two away games so far.
