The buildup to the summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Real Madrid eye possible reinforcements.
Florentino Perez oversaw a significant overhaul of his squad during the summer before focusing more on youth in January. As is always the case with Madrid, though, some of the biggest names in football continue to be linked.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news of possible comings and goings at the Bernabeu.
Sunday morning's Real Madrid transfer talk news roundup:
Manchester City 'keen on Dani Ceballos deal'
Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos during this summer's transfer window.
The 23-year-old has spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Arsenal, scoring twice and registering two assists in 35 appearances for the Gunners in all competitions.
The midfielder's existing loan deal at the Emirates Stadium is due to expire next month and as it stands, he will be back at the Bernabeu for the start of next season.
Ceballos is not thought to be in the plans of Los Blancos head coach Zinedine Zidane, though, and is believed to be keen to remain with Mikel Arteta's side next term.
According to Diario Madridista, City are also keeping a close eye on developments and could attempt to bring him to the Etihad Stadium this summer, with head coach Pep Guardiola a keen admirer of his talents.
Ceballos's existing deal at the Bernabeu is due to run until the summer of 2023.
Mohamed Salah 'casts doubt over Liverpool future'
Mohamed Salah has said that he is "happy" to have won the Premier League with Liverpool but has refused to commit his future to the club.
The Egypt international played an integral role in the Reds' first top-flight success in three decades and was also part of last season's Champions League triumph.
Salah has been linked with a move away from Anfield, however, with Real Madrid being tipped to make a move in the past, and the 28-year-old has hinted that he may leave.
"I just want to enjoy today and enjoy the moment," he told LA FM Colombia. "No-one knows the future and what will happen. Let's see what will happen.
"But at the moment we win the Champions League, we win the Premier League, I'm happy.
"Let's see what will happen in the future, but I'm very happy to win and achieve those trophies."
Salah finished as the Premier League's top scorer in 2017-18, 2018-19 and is still in outside contention to win the Golden Boot this term.
