Kylian Mbappe has indicated that he is "a few days away" from being confirmed as a Real Madrid player.
Earlier this month, Mbappe announced that he would be leaving Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expires this summer.
The Frenchman is widely expected to swap the Parc des Princes for the Santiago Bernabeu, having been a long-term target for Real Madrid.
Mbappe's agent and mother Fayza Lamari recently hinted that her son will join the Spanish giants on a free transfer ahead of the 2024-25 season.
Mbappe admits decision on future is imminent
The forward played his final game for PSG at the weekend, helping Luis Enrique's side claim a 2-1 win over Lyon in the Coupe de France final.
Ousmane Dembele and Fabian Ruiz grabbed a goal apeice to ensure that PSG finished the campaign with three trophies following their success in the league and the Trophee des Champions.
Speaking after the cup success, Mbappe was asked why is yet to reveal his next destination, having already confirmed his departure from PSG.
"Because I think the best thing to do is to finish saying goodbye," Mbappe told reporters in the mixed zone. "All I wanted was to finish well.
"There is a time for everything. I will announce my new club in due course. It will be only a few days away so there is no problem."

Mbappe then admitted that "some details" need to be finalised when he was asked whether an announcement would be made before he links up with the France national team ahead of Euro 2024.
"I still don't know," Mbappe added. "There are still some details. The most important thing was to win and to experience these final emotions."
According to Relevo, Real Madrid are likely to wait until after Saturday's Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund to confirm Mbappe as their first signing of the summer.
The France international finished his final campaign as a PSG player with 44 goals and 10 assists in 48 competitive matches.
In total, Mbappe 308 appearances in his seven-year stay at the Parc des Princes, scoring 256 goals and providing 108 assists. body check tags ::
