Achraf Hakimi will reportedly return to Real Madrid next summer with a view to cementing a spot in the Spanish outfit's first XI.
The 21-year-old has been on loan with Borussia Dortmund since the summer of 2018 and has impressed for the German side during the 2019-20 campaign.
Indeed, Hakimi has scored six times in 18 appearances for BVB this term, including four goals in four Champions League outings during a strong start to the season.
As it stands, the defender is due to return to the Bernabeu next summer, and according to AS, Madrid plan to reintroduce him into the first-team set-up from the start of the 2020-21 campaign.
Hakimi has been with Los Blancos since the age of six, progressing through the youth system and representing Real Madrid B before debuting for the first team in October 2017.
Last season, the Morocco international managed three goals and seven assists in 28 outings for Dortmund.
